It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stan Braun of Saint Charles, Minnesota, born in Utica, Minnesota, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Braun and Catherine Braun (Fix); his son Bruce; and his siblings, Dorothy Waechter, Donald Braun and Marion Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Jeri Schoonover of Lino Lakes, Becky Bailey (Jeffrey) of Chuckey, TN, Jill Christie (Daniel) of St. Charles and Roxanne Bartsh (Dave Zimmerman) of Zumbrota; his daughter-in-law Margaret Braun of St. Charles; and his grandchildren, Tricia Braun (John Wichman), Teresa "Jo" Small (Lance), Trista Braun, Natalie Schoonover, Jaimelie Hinrichsen (Ryan), Ryan Bailey (Brittany), Brianna Zacary (Robert), Dierdra Bailey, Dana Davis (Mike), Alexander Shea, Adam Shea and Bailey Christie. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
Donations to the family will be shared amongst Stan's favorite educational Scholarship funds, including the Bruce Braun Memorial Scholarship Fund. In accordance to Stan's plan, his body has been donated to Mayo Clinic Bequest program.
