The passing of Sadie Koenig of Saint Charles, Minnesota, born in Lewiston, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Hoppe and Mary Hoppe (Biver); her stepmother Ivanetta Hoppe; her husbands, Orville Hentges and Ray Koenig; her grandchildren, Hunter Schwieder and Nicole Hentges; and her siblings, Dianne Krahn and David Hoppe.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Bockenhauer (Dean) of St. Charles, Mike Hentges (Tae Min) of Highland Village, Lisa Johansen (Ray) of Shoreview, Chuck Hentges of Winona and Tom Hentges of Stockton; her grandchildren, Johanna, Audrey, Kelsi, Alexa, Bo, Angela, Alex, Josh, Dominic and Sean; her great grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Ava, Aiden, Briar, Campbell, Ryder and Henry; her stepsons, Curt Koenig (Gayle) and Ed Koenig (Peggy); her stepgrandchildren, Angela, Stephanie, Michelle, Melissa and Chad; and her sister-in-law Pam Hoppe.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (1900 E 6th St, St Charles, MN 55972).
