He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Kepler Wolter; his parents, Hazel Wolter and Julius Wolter; and his siblings, Jean Wolter and John U. Wolter.
He is survived by: his children, Marcia Wolter Blackburn, John and Pam Wolter (Grow); his grandchildren, Charlie, Sarah Blackburn (Stock), Greg Wolter, Henry Blackburn, Chris, Jesse Wolter (Buckwalter) and James Wolter (Joseph Long); and his great grandchildren, Ben, Norah Blackburn and Leo John Wolter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given to Disabled American Veterans.
