She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Larsen and Mamie Larsen (Nelson); her husband Perry Mervin Peterson; her granddaughter Maria Melton; her brother Burnette; her sister-in-law Helen Larson (Kasparek); and her stepmother Annie Larson.
She is survived by: her former husband Bruce Melton; her sons, Kirt James Melton (Beverly) of St. Charles and Perry Lee Peterson (Kathy) of Plymouth, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Christopher, Christian, Zachary Melton, Jeffrey Peterson (Jarica), Rebecca Ruud and Victoria Mathisen (Jon); and her great grandchildren, Lucille, Harriet, Lena Ruud, Peter, Caleb Mathisen and Zurilyn Peterson.
