Irving Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irving Smith of Saint Charles, Minnesota, who passed away on March 16, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Smith and Meta Smith (Engelbart); his wife Bette Wilson; his daughter Sheri Hemmelman; and his siblings, Merril Smith and Rachel Wiskow-Beseke.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott (Judy) of Gulf Shores, AL and Rollie Smith of St. Charles; his grandchildren, Dan (Kristen), Lee, Chuck Smith, Staci Gricius (Steve), Holly Gagen (Jeff) and Barb Schwab (Jack); his great grandchildren, Derek (Andrea), Michael, Kalley Schwab, Madison, Aislin Gagen, Aliya, Sophia Gricius, Kasey, Nick Smith and Chase Sithisane; his sister Dorothy Wilson-Hadlin; his brother-in-law Joe Wilson; and his son-in-law Butch Hemmelman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
