She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stier and Emma Stier (Gruetzmacher); her husband Donald; her sons, Mark and Bradley Schmidt; her grandson Ethan Samuelson; her daughters-in-law, Diane Schmidt and Nancy Schmidt; and her brothers, Don and Roger Stier.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Schmidt (Craig Schmidt) of New Prague, Cathie (Tom Samuelson) of Mound, Connie (Ted Fust) of Plymouth and Becky (Jeff Weiland) of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Chris Lochli, Jeff, Chris Schmidt, Mike, Sadie Schmidt, Tiffany, Kurt Goedjen, Erik, Molly Schmidt, Ben Samuelson, Willie Fust, Greta Fust, Katie Weiland and David Weiland; her great grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica, Corey Richards, Brandon, Immanuel, Dahlas, Austyn, Ella, Jesse, James, Calvin, Katherine, Andrew and Conor; her great great grandchildren, Autumn, Thomas and John Richards; and her sister-in-law Marie Stier. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (2451 Fairview Ln, Mound, MN 55364). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
