He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lass and Lucille Lass (Walz); his daughter Stacy Lass-Hagemeister; his stepdaughter Jane Martins; his stepson-in-law Bob Lauermann; his brothers-in-law, Merlin Neu and Vern Beste; and his nephew Adam Bieringer.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Lass of St. Cloud; his children, Brenda Greeley (Mike) of Avon, Bonnie Laudenbach (Wayne) of St. Cloud, Amy Kuechle (Brad) of Watkins and Chad Lass (Jana) of Ontario, CA; his stepchildren, Tom Martins (Sue) of Avon, Patti Lauermann of Baxter and Brian Martins (Stacey) of New Prague; and his siblings, Jan Neu of Maple Lake, Tom Lass (Patty) of Cromwell, Arlene Fitzpatrick (John) of Brainerd, Phyllis Thomton (Brent) of Black Duck, Barb Beste of Sauk Centre and Deb Templeton (Dave) of Cromwell. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
