He is survived by: his wife Tammy Newman; his siblings, Ronald Wedin of Las Vegas and Della Steffen of Duluth; his parents-in-law, Dennis and Mary Lou Telega (Tammy Wedin) of Duluth; his children, Chad Wedin of Saginaw and Kaylee Gist of Cloquet; and his grandchildren, Laynee, Tate Gist and Waylon Pihlaja. He is also survived by many brother in-laws, sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
