He was predeceased by: his parents, Haakon "Butch" and Helen Haakonson (Yogerst); and his siblings, Gary, Kenny Haakonson and Gail Philippi.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Marge" Tauber of Sauk Rapids; his daughter Tammy Campion (Shannon) of Sauk Rapids; and his sister Julie Lahr (Mike) of Rice.
