She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Schnurr and Emma Schnurr (Niichel); and her siblings, Edward Schnurr, Lucille Jonning, Helen Land and Blanch Eich.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Ahlers of Fulda, MN; her children, Alan Ahlers (Maria) of Fulda, MN, Mark Ahlers of Fulda, MN, Craig Ahlers of Fulda, MN and Lynn Hoffman (Ed) of North Mankato, MN; her great grandchild Cliff Shelby (Karen); and her siblings, Don Schnurr of Des Moines, IA, Ben Schnurr of Excelsior, MN, Micky Thom of Phoenix, AZ, Irene Martin (Jerry) of Phoenix, AZ, Gerry Schnurr (Nancy) of Des Moines, IA and Tillie Nepper of Le Sueur, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Heart Association or the Avera Heart Hospital.
