It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Mess of Rushmore, Minnesota, born in Luverne, Minnesota, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mess and Anna Mess (Wagenaar); his daughter April Elaine Mess; his son-in-law Jim Williams; and his sister Georgia Pietz.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Mess; his daughters, Shellie Williams and Heidi Romero (Enrique); his grandchildren, Ashley Williams, Alexander Romero and Natalie Romero; his great grandchild Nathan Williams; his stepgrandchildren, Justin Williams, Brianna Romero and Stephanie Romero; his stepgreat-grandson Izen Strasmann; his sister Cindy Mess of Alcester, SD; and his brother-in-law Elmer Pietz. He is also survived by many in-laws and nieces & nephews.
