He is survived by: his wife Nancy Martens; his children, Kevin Hartman of Rushmore, Lance Hartman of Rushmore and Stacie Harvey of Luverne; his grandchildren, Anthony Hartman of Japan, Sarah Drummond of Rushmore and Christopher Drummond of Rushmore; his great grandchild Tea Hartman of Japan; and his brother-in-law Wally Slinger of Pipestone.
