He was predeceased by: his parents, Hajo Harberts and Augusta Harberts (Harms); his son-in-law Kevin Cook; and his brothers, Harold, Myron and Roger Harberts.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Harberts; his children, Denise Cook of Everly, IA, Kevin Harberts (Traci), Adrian and Gregg Harberts (Amy); his grandchildren, Matthew Nemmers (Mandy), Ryan Nemmers, Brandon Hansen, Morgan Ober (Cody), Tyller Kracht, Marissa Mouw (Josh) and Trenton Kracht; his great grandchildren, Skylar Nemmers, Mazie Appeldorn, Anna Faye Ober, Sutton Ober, Wyatte, Wesley, Willo Kracht, Collin, Aubrey, Grace Mouw and Breya Kracht; his siblings, Virgil Harberts of Kent, WA, Dennis Harberts (Darlene) of Stevensville, MT and Eunice Heidebrink (Harlan) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia Harberts, Lois Harberts and Jenny Harberts of Missoula, MT..
