She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Dammer and Jennie Dammer (Meyeraan); her husband Clarence; her siblings, Sievert Dammer, Mattie Bents and Tena Gingerich; her son-in-law Stanley Buss; and her stepgrandson Anthony "Tony" Reese.
She is survived by: her children, Marjorie Reese (Corky) of Rushmore and Jerry Wiertzema (Sandee) of Woodbury; her grandchildren, Todd Boots (Janelle), Chad Wiertzema (Jessica) and Holly Herrig (Steve); her great grandchildren, Allison Boots (Brian Hoing), Payton, Camryn Wiertzema and Bradyen Herrig; her godson Scott Wiertzema; her stepgrandchildren, Angela Decker (Jamie), Amanda Fongemie (Richard) and Adam Reese (Crystal); and her brothers, Johnny Dammer of Worthington and Harm Dammer.
