He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Semmen and Clara Semmen (Ferden); his siblings, Kathleen Monsoor (Ray), Hildegarde Volkman (Hubert), Alfred Jr. (Ione), Sally Semmen and Douglas Semmen; and his siblings-in-law, Stanley Hoiland, Robert Scroggins and Glen Lea.
He is survived by: his wife Doreen Semmen; his sons, Todd (Amy), David (Kimberly), James (Brenda) and Tony (Amanda Specht); his grandchildren, Jayce (Stormy), Timothy (Tessa), Sarah Bellavia (Zach), Will, Josephine, Seth, Henry and Camilla Specht; and his siblings, Betty Hoiland, Solveig Scroggins, Margaret Lea and Charles Semmen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
