She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Lombard; her daughter Liz; and her brothers, Roald and Leif Magelssen. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Torgerson of Red Wing, MN, Becky Lombard of Rochester, MN, Paul Lombard (Carol) of Holmen, WI, Mona McAndrew (Ron) of Kasson, MN, Pete Lombard (Mary) of Byron, MN, Dave Lombard of Rushford and Pat Lombard (Chris) of O'Fallon, MO; and her sister Sonja Kulas (Jerome) of Winona, MN.. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
The family prefers memorials in Thora's memory be directed to Highland Prairie Lutheran Church.
