He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Redalen and Joyce Redalen (Grindland); his wife Peggi; and his siblings, Sharon Asleson (Donald) and Craig Redalen (Sue).
He is survived by: his children-in-law, Michele and Joel; his grandchildren, Evin, Lauren, Emma, Alex, Logan, Charlie, Ada, Kathleen and Emelia; his children, Aaron Redalen (Michele) and Kirsten Zoellner (Joel); his grandson Paul Viehauser; his siblings, Gary Redalen (Beth), Donald Redalen (Penny), Jeff Redalen (Michelle) and Jane O'Koren (Joe); and his mother-in-law Margie Schueler. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces.
