He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Gahnz and Helen Gahnz (Oldendorf). He is survived by: his son James Gahnz (Sharlene) of Mazeppa, MN; and his grandchildren, Summer, Justine and Josh. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
