With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrtle Otis of Rushford, Minnesota, who passed away on July 21, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Bunke and Ragna Bunke (Boe); her husband Donald Otis; and her brothers, Paul Bunke, Jr., Edgar, Melvin, Earl, Stanley and Clinton Bunke.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy, Deb, Bill, Sandra Bensen (Kermit), Kay Dahl (Larry), Debra Gilbertson (Peter) and Billy Otis (Lori); her grandchildren, Mark Runningen, Eric Runningen (Kimberly), Karl Runningen (Alison), Sara Peters (Travis), David Dahle, Brian Dahle (Jessica Powell), Nicholas Gilbertson (Cristal), Tera Rogers (Eric), Emma Czechowicz (Matt), Anna Thoma (Josh), Christine DeLanghe (Casey), Mary Roehl (Tyler), Donald Otis and Taylor Otis; her great grandchildren, Thomas Runningen (Brooke), Geoffrey, Erin Runningen, Adeline, Markus Runningen, Paige Kahoun (Kannan Pena), Drake Peters, Annika Reed, Nikki, Cheyanne Dahle, Collen, Caiden Dahle, Christian Esparza, Blake, Ethan DeSwarte, Joseph Gilbertson, Jennings, Harrison Rogers, Jack, Samuel, Cora, Andrew Czechowicz, Lucas, Ellie Thoma, Gregory, Adele, Clara DeLanghe, Maxwell, Evelyn and Gabrielle Roehl; her great great grandchild Greyson Pena; her brothers, Wilton Bunke and Robert Bunke (Bette Lou); her siblings-in-law, Jean Wanek (Don), Linda Hovland (Bruce), Amy Schmitz, Patricia Bunke, Darlene Bunke and Dale Otis; and her sisters, Esther Erdmann, Elfrieda Bunke, Grace Swanson and Marilyn Smaby. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
