It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Brand of Rushford, Minnesota, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Brand and Clara Brand (Meyer); his grandchildren, Justin Petersen and Megan Shaw; his son-in-law William Block; his brother Marvin; his siblings-in-law, Edel Brand, Henry Volkman, Norman, Eileen Eggert, Lorraine, Virgil Tweten and O. Arlan Hildestad; and his parents-in-law, Herbert and Gertrude Eggert.

He is survived by: his wife Anita Eggert; his children, Bonnie Petersen (John), Joyce Block, Paul Brand (Pam) and Dale Brand (Joell); his sister Ellen Volkman; and his sister-in-law Elnora Hildestad. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
