He is survived by: his wife Sharon Thompson; his children, Mia Krause (Mike) of Shakopee, Angela Smith (Jim) of Fayetteville, NC, Chanel Carlson of West St and Brandon Rustad of Rushford; his grandchildren, Maggie, Mason, Noah, Siri, Kia and Malia; his siblings, Curtis Rustad (Carol) and Judy Klennert (Ken); and his cousin Gary Rustad (Nancy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
