She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Thompson and Ida Thompson (Sweningson); her husband Vernon Burke; her brother Milford "Mix" Thompson; and her half-sister Sylvia Mollenkopf.
She is survived by: her children, Luanne Dvorak (Paul) of Rushford, Nancy Snyder of Rushford, Tom Burke (Joyce) of Prosser, WA, Jim Burke (Deb) of St. Paul, MN and John Burke of Winona, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Lois Larson of Winona and Frances Burke of Sebring, FL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family prefers memorials to Good Shepherd Lutheran Services or to Oak Grove Cemetery in Rushford.
