She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Sievers and Etta Sievers (Heiden); her husband John Torgerson; her siblings, Darold, Norman, Ethel, Charles and Betty; and her granddaughter-in-law Rebecca.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Brand (Rick) of Rushford, Jill O'Donnell (Jack) of Rushford, Jan Haugen (Lynn) of Lanesboro, MN, Faye Baker (Michael) of Milpitas, CA and James Torgerson of Rushford; her grandchildren, Ryan Brand, Rachel Rivers (Nate), Raeanna Tveten (Paul), Jeremy O'Donnell (Mae), Jessica Ruport (Chad), Jeffrey O'Donnell (Chelsea), Jenelle O'Donnell, Jonathan O'Donnell, Matt Colbenson (Carrie), Tessa Diepenbrock (Tim), Wade Colbenson, Laura Baker, Dana Baker and Jason Baker; her brother Wayne Sievers; and her sister-in-law Alice Sievers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials directed to St. John's Lutheran Church or Cemetery.
