He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Kinneberg and Janet Kinneberg (Anderson); his son Dean Markus; and his sister Janice Knutson. He is survived by: his former wife Joan Kahoun; his children, Jo Dee Hoiness (Brent), Jared Kinneberg (Jennifer) and Jed Kinneberg (Melisa); his grandchildren, Hayden, Hillary, Halley Hoiness, Cooper, Bennett, Dawson Kinneberg, Julisa and Charlie Kinneberg; his siblings, Norris Kinneberg (Fran), Sharon Boyum (Ross) and Verdale Kinneberg; and his brother-in-law Milt Knutson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be given in John's name to a R-P Agriculture Scholarship, local children's cancer research and Rushford Lutheran Church.
