He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Ranzenberger and Gertrude Ranzenberger (Blixrud); and his siblings, Dave, Dan and Eileen.

He is survived by: his wife Gayle Robbert; his stepchildren, Chandra Wilkemeyer (Aaron), Shawn Woyak (Shannon) and Jason Woyak (Jill); and his siblings, John, Tom, Jane, Karen, Joyce and Lisa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
