He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hovland and Adelaide Hovland (Marker); his siblings, David and Marjo; and his former wife Betty Bierbaum (Johnson).
He is survived by: his daughter Geri Quesnell (Mike); his stepdaughter Kathy Erdman; his brother George (Barb); and his brother-in-law Maynard Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many friends.
