He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boyum and Gertrude Boyum (Boyum); his siblings, Mary Jane Boyum, Arne Boyum and Joyce Boyum; and his son-in-law John Kurtz.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Kurtz (John), Julie Kragel (Jim), Roxanne Fulmer (Dean) and Michael Boyum (Julie); his grandchildren, Joshua Kurtz (Alyssa), Katrina Brown (Nick), David Kragel, Jonathan Kragel (Samantha), Calie Donahue (Mike), Lindsay Wentzel (Tom), Micah Fulmer, Brady Boyum (Lisa) and Justin Boyum (Jana); his siblings, Marlow Boyum, Bertha Boyum and Paul Boyum (Shari); and his sister-in-law Gail Barnard-Boyum. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Arendahl Church Cemetery fund.
