He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Risland and Donna Risland (Bell). He is survived by: his wife Julie Risland of Rush City; his sons, Eric Risland (Julia) of Pine City and Adam Risland (Katie) of Lino Lakes; and his granddaughters, Rowan, Colette, Blair, Gwen and Berit.
