With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sondra Nelson of Rush City, Minnesota, born in Culver City, California, who passed away on June 23, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Carole; her grandmother Lena Gibson; her parents, Clair Nelson and Ruth Nelson; her brothers, Dan, Greg and Neil; and her birth father Harry L. Roland.
She is survived by: her daughter Christine Sofka (Paul); her grandchildren, Andrew, Stephen Sofka of Houston, TX and Christina Schaefer of Renton, WA; her siblings, Clair Nelson (Helen Marie) of Soddy Daisy, TN, Dr. Stuart Nelson (Linda) of Vienna, VA and Priscilla Mitchell (Frank) of Rush City, MN; and her half-sister Dixie Evans (Jeff) of Hattiesburg, MS. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
