She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Walton and Leslie Walton (Welcing); her husband James West; her mother-in-law Anna Hellstrom; and her brothers-in-law, Glennys Halberg, Harold Lind, Mike Hudak, Don "Chris" Christensen and David Hellstrom.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Powell (John) of Sonoma, CA and Jason West (Patti) of Rush City; her grandchildren, Carter, Cole, Elizabeth, Hunter, James, Anna and Maximus; her great grandchildren, Levi and Bently; her siblings, Barbara Peterson (Jerry) of Zimmerman, Connie Olson (Loren) of North Branch, Joanne Swanson (Duane) of Rush City and Jodee Larson (John) of Cumberland, WI; and her siblings-in-law, Sylvia Hudak of North Branch, Vel Jean Christensen of Cambridge, Yvonne Lind of Rush City, Carolyn Sundvall of Bonney Lake, WA. and Dean Halberg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
