He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Hemmer and Evelyn Hemmer (Scofield); his wife Margaret Resch; his siblings, Donald Hemmer, Harold Hemmer, Robert Hemmer and Marjorie Heinrich; and his son-in-law Roger Holtzkamp.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Hemmer of Little Falls, Carol Reinhart (Mike) of Southlake, Rita Watson (Frank) of Pine City, Sharon Carey (Tim) of Arlington, Laura Hennes (Mark) of Hugo and Kelly Hemmer-Rondestvedt (Paul) of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; and his siblings, Sandy McClain of Trade Lake, Wisconsin and David Hemmer (Barb) of St. Cloud. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
