He is survived by: his wife Joan Havel of Rush City; his children, Brendan Havel (Traci) of Alpine, Tina Havel of Rush City, Tim Scheele of Center City, Bob Scheele (Deb) of Braham, JoAnne Hawley of Rush City and Laurie Miller of Rush City; his grandchildren, Bailey Havel (Scott Ballard) of Rush City, Kayla May of Brookings, Trevor Haugrud (Katie Koppy) of Rush City, Travis Haugrud (Sara) of Rush City, Taylor Scheele (Nick Anglo) of Rush City, Zac Scheele (Tori) of Harris, Blaine Scheele of Rush City and Vinnie Scheele of Braham; his brother Joel Havel; his brother-in-law Gary Lamb of Wyoming; and his nephew Doug Lamb of Braham.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Chapel (115 W 4th St, Rush City, MN 55069). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
