It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Kenneth Hjelm of Rush City, Minnesota, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hjelm and Lillian Hjelm (Dahl). He is survived by: his children, Jean Ysbrand (Mike) of Maple Grove, Patrick Hjelm (Dee) of Lebanon and Kelly Nelson (Terry) of Cambridge; his brother Jon Hjelm (Barb) of Greely; and his foster brother Marty LaBelle. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
