It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Johnston of Rush City, Minnesota, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Dahl and Ida Dahl (Christianson); her husband Glen Johnston; her siblings, Vernard Dahl, Wendall Dahl and Lillian Hjelm; her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Hjelm, William Niskanen, John Lyle Johnston, Betty May Johnston, Arlene Dahl, Luverne Johnston and Deloris Johnston; and her nephew John Niskanen.
She is survived by: her brother Wendell; her close friend Torry Johnston; her granddaughters, Terilyn Lee Johnston Huntington and Joyanne Jennifer Johnston; her great grandchildren, Bennett, Declan and Fletcher Huntington; her children, Terry Johnston (Lynda) of Indiana, PA and Debra Anne Johnston of Rush City; her granddaughters, Dr. Terilyn Johnston Huntington (Paul) of Indiana, PA and Joyanne Johnston of Columbia Heights; her siblings-in-law, Florence Niskanen of Athens, WI and Del Johnston (Charlotte); and her close friends, Cindy Christensen and Evyn Weston of Rush City.
