He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Walton and Mildred Walton (Doughty); his wife Eileen Walton (Weber); his son Dale Walton; his granddaughter Brittany Walton; his brother Dennis Walton; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Walton and Jan Walton.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Walton (Caralee) of Stanchfield, Duane Walton (Cindy) of Lindale and Denise Behrendt (Dan) of Rush City; and his brother James Walton of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Olson Funeral Chapel (115 W 4th St, Rush City, MN 55069). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
