He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Walton and Mildred Walton (Doughty); his wife Eileen Walton (Weber); his son Dale Walton; his granddaughter Brittany Walton; his brother Dennis Walton; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Walton and Jan Walton.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Walton (Caralee) of Stanchfield, Duane Walton (Cyndi) of Lindale and Denise Behrendt (Dan) of Rush City; and his brother James Walton of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
