He was predeceased by: his parents, L. B. Dooley and Helen Dooley (Hansen); his wife Marlene Dooley; and his daughter-in-law Julie Dooley. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Dooley of East Bethel and Mark Dooley of Pine City; and his sister Judy Anderson of Ames, Iowa. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.
