We bid farewell to Dorothy Eunice Curwick of Rush City, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 30, 2024 at the age of 94. Dorothy Eunice touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Sandling and Alice Sandling (Pendarvis); her daughter Laura Leary; her grandchildren, James Robert Digaetano, Danielle Osborne, Sarah Curwick, Kimberly Curwick and Jordan Hubbard; her siblings, Claude (Clarice Sandling), Henry Sandling, Albert (Cora Sandling), Oscar (Ruby Sandling), Homer (Dorothy Sandling), Jack (Dera Sandling), Annie Sandling, Doll (Ernie Bowman), Maudie (Troy Parks), Jane (Robert Rayburn), Robert (Shirley Sandling), Gladys (Clifford Marrs) and Harvey Pendarvis; and her in-laws, Elmer, Louise Schrunk, Donna, Tom Thomas, Doris, Don Lawson, Donald, Gloria Curwick and Winnie Curwick.
She is survived by: her husband George "Bud" Curwick (Navy) of Rush City; her children, Shirley Wald (Bill) of St. Paul, Judy Digaetano (John), Patricia Curwick of Rush City, Richard Curwick (Vicki) of Liberty Hill, Rita Moynagh (Steve) of Stacy, Joseph Curwick (Brenda) of Rush City, David Curwick (Debbie) of Anacortes, Thomas Curwick (Renee) of Lino Lakes, Caroline Kirchberg (Ken) of Rush City, Mark Curwick (Barbara) of Maple Grove and Jane Borg (Chuck) of Webster, Wisconsin; and her in-laws, James Curwick, Barb Curwick, Rosemary and Gene Bakke. She is also survived by 48 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren.
They only stopped during the Covid shutdown and Bud decided he could no longer make the drive.
