He is survived by: his children, Pamela Chesbrough of North Branch, Dustin Splittstoser (Jill) of Rush City and Donald Splittstoser, Jr. of St. Paul; his grandchildren, Sierria Splittstoser, Katie Nyquist (Adam), Kevyn Glem (Ashley), Matt Hodges and Amanda Hodges; his great grandchildren, Caiden, Reid, Brinley and Kyler; and his siblings, Lorna Splittstoser of Kentucky and Claire Anne Vera of Washington. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
