She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hanson and Myrtle Hanson; her husband Don Karas; her son Warren Karas; her siblings, Viola Soukup and Arthur "Bud" Hanson; and her siblings-in-law, Henry Soukup, Ione Hanson and Lorraine Hanson.
She is survived by: her son Donald Karas (Mary) of Blaine, Ala; her daughter-in-law Ginni Karas of Stanchfield; her grandchildren, Rachael, Jason, Michelle, Kelsey, Blake, Jack and Shawn; her great grandchildren, Abbi, Alexa, Vinny, Braxton, Kiera, Jillian, Capri, Jetta, Jayzee, Cash and Hudson; and her sister Marie Hanson (Ann Monson) of Wascott, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
