We bid farewell to Selma M. Larson of Rothsay, Minnesota, born in Shelly, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 3, 2024 at the age of 93. Selma touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Swenson and Bertha Swenson (Eftland); her spouse Obed Larson; and her sons, Steve Larson and Mitch Larson.
She is survived by: her children, Terryl "Terry" Larson and Marlo Larson; her daughters-in-law, Angie Larson (Dustin Reinhart) and Sheryll Larson; her foster daughters, Mary Halverson and Phyllis Halvorson; her grandchildren, Micki Curtis (Chad), Matt Halverson, Brian Larson, Cody Larson (Nicole), Taylor Bowen (Dylan), Tony Larson (Bruna), Sylas Larson-Reinhart, Madisyn Larson-Reinhart, Clay Larson-Reinhart, Dani Lovick (Andrew), Ben Larson, Weston Hughes and Marcelle Trombley (Adam); her great grandchildren, Cassi Lee (Patrick), Nick Curtis (Lauren Barry), Emmitt Curtis, Brady Halverson, Rory Bowen, River Bowen, Raya Bowen, Avery Lovick, Layla Lovick, Gavin Trombley and Davis Trombley; her great great grandchildren, Elyn Lee and Isla Lee; and her sisters, Olga Meyer-Gregor, Alice Brenden and Lucy Doerfler.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Korsmo Funeral Service (409 8th St S, Moorhead, MN 56561). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Life Lutheran Church (102 Main Ave W, Rothsay, MN 56579).
