She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Kowalski and Nina Kowalski; her husband Eugene Thorpe Jr. of Fargo; and her grandson Greg Sherette. She is survived by: her children, Dave Thorpe (Amy) of Moorhead, MN, Debra Sherette (Darrel Bernard) of Montello, WI, Dion Thorpe of Springfield, VA, Don Thorpe (Deborah) of Dent, MN and Deanna Hickel (Duane) of Fargo, ND; and her sister-in-law Carol Nelson of Park Rapids, MN. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
