He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Ettel and Grace Ettel (Johnson); his former wife Lenore; his wife Betty Link; and his daughter Margie Petersen.
He is survived by: his children, Roger G. (Diana), Susan LaTona and Diane Aufderhar (Jim); his son-in-law Bill Petersen; his stepchildren, Karl (Caroline) and Christine Braker (Terry); his grandchildren, Mark, Andrew, Daniel, Mariano, Jeana, Franco, Mary, Betsy, Ann, Dane, Nicole and Eric; and his stepgrandchildren, Terralea and Tyrell. He is also survived by five greatgrandchildren and four step-greatgrandchildren.
