He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Krause and Jean Ann Krause of Roseville, Minnesota.; his siblings, Bruce (Deborah) and Kim; and his siblings-in-law, Mary and Willis Zutaut.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Zutaut); his former wife Debra Krause (Holm); his daughters, Heather Schaaf (Brenden) and Tammy Sterken (Eric); his grandchildren, Riley, Shelby, Blake and Sydney; his brother Keith Krause (Karen); and his sister-in-law Laura Gee (Kris). He is also survived by niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to https://friendsofsleepingbear.org, a national lakeshore area we enjoyed as a family or https://www.gtrlc.org to preserve land in the Grand Traverse area for recreation.
