He was predeceased by: his parents, William Boyer and Vieno Boyer; and his brothers, Charles, Richard and Hubert.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Humphrey; his children, Scott Boyer (Kathy) of Lonsdale, Nancy Spencer (Joe) of South St and Keith Boyer (Deanna) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Grant Boyer, Elizabeth Boyer (Devin Miller), William Spencer, Hanna Boyer and Amanda Boyer; and his siblings, Lloyd of Brainerd and Dorothy Insley of Aitkin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Tin Can Sailors, Centennial Church, the American Lung Association or donor's choice.
