He was predeceased by: his wife Jo; his daughter Barbara Langevin Harstad; and his brother Henry Langevin. He is survived by: his children, Ann Marie Kolke (Darren), Mark and James J. (Beth); his grandchildren, Jacob (Emmalee), Sadie (James), Levi, Nicholas, Carli, Lily, Parker, Lillian and Wyatt; his great grandchildren, Peter, Joel and Kendall; and his son-in-law Forrest Harstad. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
