He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Anya, Nina Simpson (Joe) and Ross (Dawn); his grandchildren, Sonya, Aidan Dodd, Alayna, Angela, Nadia, Natalia Hrynewych, Rowan, Zorianna Simpson, Larissa and Michaela Brantley; his brothers, Orest, Ulyana Hrynewych and Bohdan Hrynewych; and his nieces and nephews, Noah, Nathan Hrynewych, Paul Bilyavski, Oleksander, Amy Hrynewych, Khrystyna and Marco Stefaniuk.
