He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Knudsen and Doris Knudsen (Branes); his brother David; and his close friend Marguerite "Mag" Bierbach. He is survived by: his siblings, Dan (Mary), Bonnie Voelker (Ron) and Lis Aasgaard (Paul). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
