She is survived by: her children, Gregg Gunter (Jenny), Laurie Gunter, Sue Kurzhal (Brian) and Nancy Sauer (Brad); and her grandchildren, Sam Joachim (Celeste), Ellen Moran (Taylor), Brianne Kurzhal (Josh Bannink), Melissa Forkner (James), Andrew Joachim, Alison Valenty (Adam), Anna Gunter, Nicole Gavey (Kevin) and Maia Gunter. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the ALS Association of Minnesota.
