She is survived by: her children, Joel (Heidi), Dana (Dan), Renee McNeil (Scott) and Antoine "Tony"; her grandchildren, Christopher, Jasmine, Habeeballah, Jordan, Ibrahim and Sabri; her goddaughter Chanell Owens; and her siblings, Joan Thompson, Gene Perteet (Georgia), Archela Cobb, Duane Perteet (Oneitha), Renee Brown, Daryl Perteet, Rickie Perteet (Anita), Cheryl Perteet, Karon Perteet and Gayle Foreman.
