With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William A. Burge of Rosemount, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on January 22, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Gayle; and his daughter Laurie Burge. He is survived by: his daughter Janelle Zielinski (Chris); and his grandchildren, Cameron (Jenny), Samantha and Ethan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.

“Bill's Family and fellow friends, I was so sad to hear of Bill's passing last week. . I played softball with Bill in Rosemount for approximately 20 years. He was such a great guy with an easy going demeanor and a great softball pitcher! We won a Championship once or twice during that time. The best were the conversations after the games and I always looked forward to conversing with Bill. Rest in peace Bill! Cheers!!”

“Janelle and family, I am deeply saddened by the loss of Bill. He was a high school classmate and a dear friend. Everyone who hears of his passing is both shocked and saddened. Bill was a kind and loving man. He was thoughtful and generous. He had a great sense of humor. He was well-loved by so many people, including me. I am unfortunately unable to attend the funeral because I have a work meeting at that time. But, I send you my thoughts and prayers. And, I will make a donation in Bill's honor”
